Speak Life Not Death

I just wanted to share a little snippet of something that I had to learn the hard way, specifically relating to the spoken word. Now I'm not knocking the 'blab it and grab it' or the 'name it and claim it' crew who sometimes can get a bit carried away with this practice. How could I ever do such a cruel thing when I personally at one point was a part of this clique for many years.

The scripture verse I am referring to comes out of the (Book of Proverbs 18:21 NKJV) it reads;"Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and those who love it will eat its fruit". You don't have to be a rocket scientist to figure out the end road of negative statements that are thrown into the air carelessly or intentionally. We also cannot underestimate the effects of those statements that can change our lives in a more positive way. What fruit is this scripture pertaining to?Well in (Galatians 6:7 NIV)The Bible says:"Do not be deceived:God cannot be mocked.A man reaps what He sows". If you put daisy seeds in the ground, guess what you're going to get...daisies,no brainer right?.Same thing applies to every area of our lives. If we continue to speak;poverty, sickness, despair and God forbid even death on ourselves ,guess what will happen? When I was a child my grandmother would always  say how she knew she was going to die from cancer and how she would only live long enough to see me married. Her words were powerful indeed, God bless her heart and even though she lived well past 70;she did die of cancer which was exactly nine months after I got married!
I can't reiterate it enough  ,be careful what you say.
